Spring School
The Europhotonics Spring School is an annual workshop designed to gather together Master students, PhD students and professors.
The Spring School is a privileged moment for exchanging experiences and preparing future careers.
The program consists of talks and courses in selected areas of photonics given by invited researchers. All Europhotonics Master students attend the Spring School.
2012 – The 1st edition of the Spring School took place at Institute of Photonic Science (Spain, Catelldefels, Barcelona). See program.
2013 – The 2nd edition of the Spring School took place in Pforzheim (Germany). See program.
2014 – The 3rd edition of the Spring School took place in Porquerolles island (France, Provence region – Mediterranean sea). See program & photos below.
2015 – The 4th edition of the Spring School took place place in Paderborn (Germany). See program & photo.
2016 – The 5th edition of the Spring School took place in Porquerolles island (France, Provence region – Mediterranean sea). See program & photo.
2017 – The 6th edition of the Spring School took place in Sitges (Spain, Catalunya – Mediterranean sea). See program & photos below.
2018 – The 7th edition of the Spring School took place in Marseille (France). See program & photos below.
2019 – The 8th edition of the Spring School took place in Marseille (France). See photos below.
2020 – The 9th edition of the Spring School was supposed to be held in Saint-Raphael (France), but has been canceled due to the COVID pandemic crisis.
2021 – The 10th edition of the Spring School was fully virtual. Check the conference website for program and registration.
2022 – The 11th edition of the Spring School has taken place in Sitges (Spain, Catalunya – Mediterranean sea). See program & pictures below.
2023 – The 12th edition of the Spring School took place place in Lowestein (Germany). See program & pictures below.
2024 – The 13th edition of the Spring School will take place in Helsinki (Finland). Check the conference website for program.
