phD candidates will work under a co-tutelle supervision (joint supervision of doctoral studies by at least two universities within the consortium) between one project-leading laboratory and collaborative laboratories. If successful the doctoral candidate will be awarded a double doctoral degree awarded by the two institutions.
At least one semester will be spent in each of the co-supervising institutions.
The students will follow two weeks of training units per semester to obtain the doctorate diploma after the thesis defense.
Training is based on modules proposed in each institutions:
- Technical modules : scientific knowledge necessary to the conduction of the research in a given field
- Scientific modules: participation and presentation at meetings, conferences, schools
- Management modules: transferable skills training related to research and industry
Each module corresponds to 1 to 2 training weeks (or equivalent time) that allows monitoring the student training progress.
