Therefore, all the students must spend at least one courses term\u00a0 in a University of the Consortium other than Aix-Marseille.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">At least two of the countries visited during the Master must be different from the country of residence of the student at enrolment stage.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Semester 4 (Master Thesis) can only be completed in one of the Europhotonics Partner Universities, Associate Partner Universities or in a company. The Master thesis is always supervised by at least one academic supervisor from an Europhotonics Partner University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; header_font=&#8221;|||on|||||&#8221; header_2_font=&#8221;|||on|||||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;|||10px|false|false&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>EMJM Scholarship holders mobility rules<\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; ul_line_height=&#8221;1.2em&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;|||10px|false|false&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>For the EMJM scholarship holders, additional mobility rules apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">For Semester 2, for each intake, there should be an equivalent number of EMJM scholarship holder students in Marseille and Karlsruhe, plus or minus one.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">For Semester 3, for a 17 EMJM scholarship holders students group, the distribution of the group is carried out on the basis of 5 students in Marseille and 3 students in all other Europhotonics Consortium European Universities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.europhotonics.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Europhotonics_Mobility_Rules.png&#8221; title_text=&#8221;Europhotonics_Mobility_Rules&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column_inner][\/et_pb_row_inner][et_pb_row_inner _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column_inner saved_specialty_column_type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; header_font=&#8221;|||on|||||&#8221; header_2_font=&#8221;|||on|||||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;|||10px|false|false&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Mobility Selection<\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; custom_padding=&#8221;|||10px|false|false&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the number of students willing to spend their Semester at a given University of the Consortium exceeds the number of available places, a selection will be done. Everything will be done in order to meet as much as possible the students\u2019 expectations.
